Information used to make your film

We use your account name and email, story brief, character names, reference photos you choose to upload, messages, and generated film files. Account and order information is used to manage your request and provide the service. Security and operational records help protect accounts and investigate faults.

Why we use your information

We use account and order information to take the steps you request and provide your film. We use security records to protect the service and prevent misuse. When processing depends on your consent, you can withdraw it by contacting us. We do not bundle marketing permission into your film request.

Photos and children

Only upload photos you have permission to use for making the requested film. For a child’s photo, you must be their parent or legal guardian, or have the guardian’s permission. Do not include sensitive information that the story does not need. The ordering service is intended for adults. A replacement photo requires a new permission acknowledgment. Permission to make a private film is not permission to use it in advertising.

A private story, made for you

We use local AI for video rendering. Your photos and film are used to fulfil your request. Sharing a reference photo does not give us permission to feature it in our marketing. Finished films are available through your private account.

Who helps us provide the service

Authorised service providers help us host the website, manage accounts, deliver email and create your film. We share information needed for those services. If you choose social sign-in, your sign-in provider processes information under its own privacy notice. You can request details of the relevant providers, processing locations and international transfer arrangements by contacting us.

How long we keep your files

Reference photos have a retention period of up to 15 days from upload. Finished videos have a retention period of up to 30 days from creation. Please download your film and keep your own copy. You can ask us to delete your files earlier at info@reimagia.com.

Account, order and support records are kept for managing your relationship with us, handling requests and meeting applicable legal obligations. When you request deletion, we explain any information that must be retained and why. Temporary download links may remain usable until they expire.

Your rights and choices

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a portable copy of applicable personal data. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it; this does not undo lawful processing already performed. Contact info@reimagia.com from your account email and tell us what you need. We may request proportionate identity verification; do not send identity documents unless requested. Requests are normally answered within one month, subject to the GDPR’s permitted extensions and exceptions.

You may complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority. You can also contact the supervisory authority where you live or work in the EU.
